My name is Peter. I am a follower of Jesus, a husband, a father, a grandfather, a teacher, a coach, an ordained Evangelical Covenant Pastor, a church planter, a cancer survivor, a discipler, an outdoorsman, a cyclist, a lover of music and good books, a meat smoker, a lover of people.
This idea of the inverted church comes from a life lived in the world and life passionately serving the church. I love the church and see it struggling to reach the world its people live in. The days of people coming to the attractional church isn’t working and I see that my friends who know Jesus are struggling to live in the many facets of our culture and be part of church. What if we went back to the simplicity of Jesus and the first church; one life together in Jesus. What would the church look like in our context?
